Server Experts

Hence why I made this topic, I think we're at a turning point.

grats Marquis, and i am glad you made this topic. I think they need to implement experts on the servers now... I get along with just about anyone, Even Rex (LOL) but the influx of new players lately is Immature to say the least. Plus they all have questions and need help. I try as much as i can but woooo, it's a lot. i even have a shortcut made up on my Ipod with links for Nira''s thread, Lexo's pal guide, and 2 others. So i can mail it to the new players quicker.

Thanks! And it never hurts to team up with your ''enemy'' in some situations .
Same here, I'm trying to help out as often as possible, and refer people to those said topics quite a few times aswell.
Haven't thought about putting them on a shortcut, might be a wise move .

Yea, some basic rules in the ''Menu'' tab wouldn't hurt, and it'd make the job of future Server Experts easier aswell!

I think those are the basic requirements for a Server Expert, active, mature & knowledge about the game.

Wooooo I have a friend! Lol. And now you see what it was like for for nira, nick, and myself, even with the three of us s2 chat was still filled with a constant stream of questions. That's why I said there should be AT LEAST 2 experts per server on another post about them a while back. That way they won't get overwhelmed and 1 player won't need to be on constantly.

That's why I said there should be AT LEAST 2 experts per server on another post about them a while back. That way they won't get overwhelmed and 1 player won't need to be on constantly.

Agreed, two actives from completely different time zones would be ideal.
But I think only the more active Servers would need 2 Server Experts, I'm quite sure that the Server I'm in, 28, could be handeled by 1 active person.

I think two experts on opposite time zones would be best to provide 24 or close to 24 hour coverage as well as possible multi-lingual support.

As much as I know many of you dislike seeing Thai in chat, I think it's only fair to also have experts who can handle that population of players as well.



Also. We need a timeframe from support as to when they plan on implementing this feature otherwise it is pointless to update nominations only for them to go stale again.

S28 definitely needs some experts maybe 1 or 2 to stop the spamming and constant cussing of wildshot15 and sometimes _Jackcb_ but I would lve to see how experts would work out for us
