Re: PvP abuse solved now how about potions ?

it's a good thing i stocked up on jellies. that's all that ive been getting since 1.3 came out. jellies jellies everywhere! jellies on vet, jellies on exp, jellies on team mode, jellies in game. jellies in crystal chests. one of the crystal chest rewards i got had 15 purple jellies. sold all of them out of rage wahhahahha

but it's part of people's strategies and I dont think we should criticize players who take advantage of it. not all players can get pod. not all players can get the skills they want for their monsters. yes, we can disenchant books but it seems like it's more difficult to get books now. not all players are lucky enough to get the talents they want for their monsters so if they use potions/jellies i think that's fine. i for one dont use them but if other players do i respect their decision.

I wish Haypi would restrict the use of combat jellies in PVP.

In all fairness that is kinda weak..... That is like saying I have no respect for people who use legendary monsters in pvp because they are overpowered and I don't have one "real players should be able to beat me with commons and Poe" lol. Potions are meant to be used, that's why they were put in the game. It is just another aspect, another strategy/tool to be used. Why would using a item that helps you in pvp be a bad thing??? Do you have the same view of people who use winged boots or sharp claw in pvp since it adds a advantage to a monster that it didnt previously have?? In my opinion people who use potions/jellies are pretty smart because that is what they were intended for, just collect and use them yourself.

I agree!!!! Hahahahah this is actually my thought was. @.@

Also agreed. I'm one of the few who have crap luck with ABCs so on the rare times I do go into the PVP arena for daily "win of the day" I use jellies to ensure a win. It is just as valid as using anything else. If you want to fight someone without consumables, then go play ladder.

Re: PvP abuse solved now how about potions ?

I don't like the use of jellies or potions in pvp, I get aggravated when I forget one on my monster. I have went back into pvp with same opponent and threw the match. One thing I do approve of is soak/photo or water beads/absorption. Those are skills, they take a slot. If you have it use it. I caught grief once from someone because I used Soak. I used Soak he used Super T storm. I lived 1 extra round. So what. That to me would be like saying "hey man you can't PoD!"

A jellie or potion to me is a hidden item. Yea once you know they use them, you look for it, but do you know what potion/jellie? 10% health back or 50%?? With Soak/Photo you know what to expect.
Jellies and Potions sell in shop for Gold coins. Sure pvp reward isn't enough to cover them all, but if you are a rich pr**k and just want to be #1 for bragging rights you can buy all you want/need. That makes it unbalanced.

That's all I got.

I disagree. You can stock up on jellies and potions from adventuring on the map and in team mode. You don't need to be a "rich prick" to afford them. I think it is fair to use jellies and potions as you can use other items such as speed boots, matk belts, etc. to boost your monsters abilities in PVP and no one would be the wiser. It is just a question of how much do you want to win a match in PVP? How much are you willing to spend?

Potions/jellies are an aspect of PVP that is allowed and it is just up to the players to decide if they wish to invest it in. Same as eggs... could cry and say it's not fair, rich people get Fenrir, they shouldn't allow Fenrir in PVP. Potions have just as much a right in PVP as fenrir and other equipable items.

Re: PvP abuse solved now how about potions ?

My main problem with jellies is that they steal a win I actually deserved. When I kill a monster then it should stay dead, not come back to life from some magic glob of jell-o. It's not my fault that my monsters were the better ones in the battle so why should I get punished with a loss because the enemy is a Rasputin wannabe? It's the same reason I hate healer, resurrect, and skills like photo; pvp is about who is the better player/battle commander, not who farmed the most levels for jellies and rune gems or bought the stuff in the same sense that ladder is about who has the better monsters, thus the reason for no items. Honestly if it were up to me there would be no talents in ladder either and there would be no items except the battle items (claws, boots, etc...) can't really stop the losers who heal with photo and whatnot..... Actually come to think of it if it were up to me there wouldn't be any talents at all, I hate them with a passion.

Love this guy, No Ho Mo ^ but his raging when a combat Jellie pops up is the best! But when he uses jellies he r a p e s the p u s s y who used jellies /potions first.
