I've also tried Haypi Monster on IOS 7. The current version 1.3 does not work. You will be able to login on your account actually. But when you reach your home page (home island). There is somewhat a gray layer that wasn't dismissed (those gray layers are usualy used by developers to limit actions to the background of a pop-over window such as the pop-over of the orange egg with fenrir).
To downgrade, the basic restore process won't work. You need to force restore via this process: 1.) attached your device to itunes, when your device is recognized do step 2. 2.) hold both the home button and the lock/power button on top of the device for around 10 seconds, then release the lock/power button.
