And: will the crystal chests in the store-tiles also be 50% off – and cost only 4 gp each?

I think it wouldn't give a lot of boss essence because think of it , if it gives more than 7 boss essence ( which is just the price of a crystal chest and key ) you could just buy more and have infinite supply of boss essence

It would still be a gamble, since you could also open beast or wisdom essence. So maybe 10 boss essence, if you're lucky enough to open some? (or 200 with a ridicilous low chance)

Ofc u can dream , but it says it gives essences and if it gives from all essences that mean it will be even 1-2 boss essence , u can't think that Haypi will make u have boss essence enough to buy new chest + key and keep essence of life / wisdom , there is no logic in that .... then everyone will have all books in game + all scrolls that can be bough in special shop ...

where does it say, it will give you all three essences at once?

i'd believe you open a chest and it contains an amount of one essence and thats it.
A system, where it gives you all three essences at once and than enough of one to buy another go – that would be nuts of course, but i never stated anything like that.

They said in the information for this even that the crystal chests are half-priced - but they didn't say anything about keys. I guess we will just have to wait for this.

With regards to the essences, I doubt they will give a lot from every opened chest. 9 boss essences will give you a loaded dice box, which costs 45 gold coins, so I'm guessing that they might give 3 in one go.
I am really hoping I'm wrong, though. I think 5 in each chests would be a better idea for boss essences.

For wisdom essences, I think 10 or 15 per chest will be a reasonable amount. Life essences would give 5, I think - probably 10.

I would be extremely happy if the amount are actually higher than these, though. If the chances of getting boss essences are pretty low, they need to compensate by giving more than 5 in every chest.
These crystal chests (possible corresponding keys) might be on sale but they're still not cheap enough.

Actually I'd like the amounts lower. Harder to get legendaries make them actually feel like legendaries.

I mean its not something everyone should have a few days after release of patch. If everyone had it 2 days after 1.3 then it wouldn't be legendary at all
