@ Marionette: That seems kinda unfair, just saying that takes one of my main monsters out of my line up.

@ Discussion: I've stated this before and I saw it up there somewhere too I think and that's if HM wanted to they coulda hotfixed this "issue" easily but they didn't. That says a lot to how HM views this situation. As just that a situation and not an issue. They are taking the time to Assess and gather info before acting.

I also would like to call attention to the way the term bug is being used in this discussion.
- Normally a "bug" is an improperly coded or malfunctioning aspect of the game that is not intended.
- Another point I'd like mention about Tech-II is the description could be wrong (which is common) or the skill could be acting up. We don't know.
But to say that users are violating EULA is far stretch in my opinion.

In my case, I actually have tech 2 on one of my flights. When I breed 3 grade S flights, I had tech 2, unbending and evade on them. I agree with zenjio that this bug issue is really more of HM's negligence than anything. Their main priority should be to fix them ASAP instead of focusing on the progression of v1.2

Also, if players who used adapt/tech 2 etc. are punished, I think HM servers will be more dead than it already is now. The best solution IMO is to fix all these bugs NOW.

And on zenjio's point that everyone can abuse the talents, I heard this rumor that adapt is no longer obtainable. This player claims that his server tried to obtain it through runes and breeding but no one has seen 1 with adapt these few days. I myself have bred neos from E to B with 10 over of them but I haven't seen 1 with adapt either.



I bred a neo with adaptibility about 3 days ago

About fixing or rebalancing talents and HM not reacting fast enough.

This happens in every mmorpg when new content is introduced. A lot of stuff happens in the background. They need to test whatever they are fixing to ensure it doesn't flop the other way and to ensure the game is balanced.

Lets say they response to the masses and knee jerk and hot fix nerf adapt. Twice as many people will complain that their mobs are now completely useless and its unfair the other way.

At the end of the day it's a balancing act and this takes a lot of time to do.
Once those snow mobs are introduced ill bet my coins that they will be either way op or way underpowered.

Everything worked perfectly before talents were introduced so disabling talents won't really unable people to retain their spot with their current teams.

Before talents everyone just stacked s-flights or s-lupa. I would hardly call that working properly.

Firstly, I think you meant 'disable', Marionette! :P
Anyway, that's to lighten the mood a bit!

As others said, people just need to adapt. You can't just disable the abilities because people would just go back to using the overpowered teams, such as those already mentioned (Flight S and Lupa S). With these situations, people just need to adapt. Whatever is overpowered at the moment, find something to counteract against it.

I don't think this is a bug. It's just a minor mishap. There WILL be more of these. The game is just in the early stages and these new major features will be met with numerous similar situations when they come out.
It's best to ride the surf at the moment. Just find a counter for Adaptability.

(Technician 2, on the other hand is a bug but it's not that strong compared to Adaptability.)

As more features gets introduced, there will always be monsters or skills that will be stronger than others. These motivates people to get them. Just imagine having every monster have the same stats and it will be ALL down to luck with your line-up, etc.

I think we should all just wait patiently for these. Just go with the crowd for now and try and get Adaptability or find a way to counter it.

Also, just wondering - is the rumour about Adaptability true?
I haven't heard of anyone getting the ability for a few days now, in my server.

sane in ours. HUndreds of tries, no adaptability. But above is said, he got adapt 3 days ago... If its true, who knows

No, I just got adaptability on my Draco just now. I was hoping to get rid of the useless Thorn Talent and bam. It's really useful for maps though, and the damage is really high. But, Blocky can still one shot Draco. What's the problem again?
