What should I spend my Gold on?

I have 36 gold coins but idk what to spend them on. I don't want to waste them on something useless, what do you guys suggest spending gold on?

Also, I'm new so any advice would be great, I just finished volcano land

First of all, welcome to the game + Forum!
About the question, I'd keep them; there's not much you can do with Gold Coins when you just started the game.
You might want to try and open an Orange Egg when you have 49 Gold Coins. Altough having a very low rate, you do have a chance of getting a Legendary monster! If not, you might always end up with a nice Epic monster if you're lucky.

About the advice, could you be a bit more specific ?
If I'd have to explain the entire game right now, I would be typing for a few hours T_T.

Click the link in koenaj's signature that says "Mother of All Guides" because that tells most any newbie about the game, from it's mechanics to its subtleties - Koe spared no expense in creating it for us, so be sure to use it... I've been using the Mother of Guides since I started, thank you for creating the guide Also, about the advice, just any few things you think I should keep in mind that you wish you knew as a beginner. And also, I don't fully understand the hatchery I just unlocked it. Do I need two of the same monsters with opposite genders? And do I get the same monster without losing one of the previous ones I owned? Is this new monster level 1 and a higher grade? Sorry for so many questions lol, thanks

I've been using the Mother of Guides since I started, thank you for creating the guide Also, about the advice, just any few things you think I should keep in mind that you wish you knew as a beginner. And also, I don't fully understand the hatchery I just unlocked it. Do I need two of the same monsters with opposite genders? About the Hatchery:
You will need a Male and Female of the same monster. The Grade and Level does not matter.
It will create an offspring, which is the same monster (You will have 3 monsters) which is higher grade than the parents is.
Also, the offspring is Level. 1!

I guess it's wise not to spend your Skill books on monsters that aren't S Grade. It'll save you a lot of searching in the long run!
Also, try to breed Epics and Legendary monsters only, Rares aren't really worth breeding anymore!

Starting out, breed rares that are synth components for other, epic monsters. These are rare monsters like Lupa, Chimp, Octobud, Crabby, and a few others. When you acquire TWO funkis (maybe a month away), BREED them, too. By breeding these component monsters, you will save time and silver in the long run.
