Gold and Crystal Chests

From looking at the images when you click on either chest I see th knkysifference is the crystal chest has a premium rune and the gold does not, so do they drop the same stuff just higher chance of getting something too in a crystal chest(as the description indicates).

If so it's probably not with storing crystal chests, I might aswell store gold ones considering there easier to get and I can just open just over double the amount, Everytime I open a crystal chest I've not got anything and thought wow nice that was worth it.

I got 2 premium runes from crystal chests before OEL's were in game. Have not seen any in chests since. Other than that the best thing I got from crystal chests is 50k silver and 2 times I got ABC from em.

I definitely would pick Gold Chests over Crystal Chests.
Not only are Crystal Chests next to impossible to find without buying, they give pretty much junk .
I opened quite a few with Honor, and most of the time, it's either 50.000 Silver or a Rare/Epic Synthesis Scroll...
Gold Chests on the other hand cost half the price, and have, in my opinion, a much wider variety of commonly obtainable items.

What do you mean next to impossible to find crystal chests? do you mean to buy them? Becuase I never have seen one looted anywhere ever, only the keys ive gotten from chest squares.

You can find both Key & Chest in Ruby Chests.

Really?? crystal chests from the ruby chest squares??? I have Never got one ever, on 9 accounts! never! Got crystal keys before but not the chests. I need to ask around on my server to see if anyone has got one.

Well there's my luck in action again, If it wasnt bad I wouldn't have any at all.

If you'd buy it with Honor, you'd have to spent 2100 Honor per Crystal, and 900 per Gold.

The Silver/Honor ratio would be:

Crystal Chest = 50.000 / 2100 = 23,81 Silver per Honor
Gold Chest = 22,22 Silver per Honor

However, seeing how there isn't a 100% guartantee you'll get Silver and you're able to buy 2,33 Gold Chests for the price of one Crystal Chests, I'd say you'd get more money from opening Gold Chests than from opening Crystal Chests.
