Yup, I guess you're right, but I read the rules and there is nothing against it and I really feel the need of the 4th slot so I thought I could give it a try.

May I suggest if you just need 2 pals to unlock the 4th slot, just create two new accounts using your PAL code.
It's easier than looking for pals.
