Best Scythe Counter?

So my server is overrun with Scythes. Top ten ladder players use at least two in their team so what is the best non legendary way to counter them? Both ladder and pvp?

Which of these would be better?

Flight: Penetrate (for resurrect)
Poison leaves
PoD
Jujitsu
Boulder (for neon who is also popular)

Smiter: Overgrow 3
Poison leaves
Solar smite
PoD
?

Cygness: Adapt
Rain Prayer
Water Torrent
Water Jets
PoD

I'm leaning against the Cygness because there is also a lot of Neons and Gryphions.

1v1 cygness hands down
2v2 you can run a taunt pewg

If you have money to burn get hydra.

For Scythe(resurrect) with martyrdom in ladder:
Pewgway(resurrect) rain wt wb --
Pewgway(thorn2) this will help not to resurrect scythe
Pewgway(shun) this will help not to martyrdom scythe
Never use smiter and cygness because if scythe with full hp and do martyr can kill these mobs.

Flight(penetrate) iaijutsu wb/pl pod -upgrade your iaijutsu+5, i am not really sure about water bomb and poison leaves here coz you might lose because of the weather changes.

Or at least make and breed a resurrect scythe also.

About pattafly i dont know if this will survive to a martyrdom coz i never tried leveling mine.

Scythe with sandstorm can probably ruin above strategies!

Scythe is every where almost as bad as neons omg, like top 50 in my server all have S neon and S scythe, it's driving me crazy since their so op, I'm surprised I'm even staying top 20 without either of them, I have S neon for at least 3-4 months now, but it's just Soo op, and then add resurrect and adapt, and it's like lets love some rainbow up! If I had a scythe on my team with Marty dam I could easily get back in top 10, it's just I don't wanna do it cheaply and scythe is just a fairy to catch,

Try Adapt Cygness with Water Torrent; one shots Scythe even after it has casted PoD. The main problem is probably Sand Storm + Massive Boulder action, and since your water monsters are too dumb to cast rain prayer, you just have to hope for the best. To deal with Matrydom, a Pewgway with Shun would probably give you enough time to beat it. And if you can't beat it, just get one for yourself. =) I have a Scythe, and it works wonders.

I know how to counter but I'm not gonna go make an ugly pewgway just to counter some scythes, I just use my Levi

Yes and that depends on your luck. Try scythe(resu) martyr boulder massive boulder POD.

A scythe with resurrect and martyrdom easily will kill I'm leveling up my Scythe and he's currently level 38 and only has Sandstorm so I don't use him just yet :s
