Clawpard or Chuncky

Hey i wonder what should i make as my ice monser , clawpard or chunkey .
Also what do u think i should make first , ice monster or fire monster ?

And you should get an ice type first, since it has neutrality against more types and also because people are beginning to stop using fire types, anyway. Your Clawpard wouldn't have to worry too much about facing a fire type, since they're now rather rare, except for the occasional Cerberus or Draco. Frost Aura-III would also help kill them, I think.

Also my monsters are water based , so ig wouldnt help much now ...

Clawpard beats chunky in all stats except attack which you wil almost never use anyways.

Though Chunky does have the novelty use of Snowflakes under its belt, it is the only monster that players can put Snowflakes on that can realistically use it.

I agree with most of what everyone has replied with.

At the moment, it is better to breed Ice-type monsters because there are a couple more monsters that are being used often these days which are at an advantage to Fire-type monsters - i.e., Brawny, Scythe, Pewgway, Cygness and Leviathan.
With Ice-types, you only have to worry about Ignightmare, Draco and Cerberus (mostly). Ignightmare is rarely used nowadays and usually only for targetting specific monsters in ladder. They are not considered to be an integral part of most ladder and PvP teams. Draconius is the same and is used mostly be newer players. There are only a handful of players with S grade Draconius. Cerberus requires Orange Eggs so unless your server somehow is extremely lucky and a lot of people have one, it's better to raise a Ice-type first.

Clawpard is better than Chunky in speed and this is extremely helpful. Chunky does have its uses, one of which Cladun has already mentioned, but in general, I feel that Clawpard is preferred by most players. Chunky does have an excellent magical attack statistic but it doesn't strike everyone as an offensive monster because of its abysmal speed.
