How on earth do I complete frozen vet and expert mode

The blizzard in vet mode is wiping me out easily and then in expert mode you can't even use fire monsters! Should I just stock up resurrection cards?

Has anyone passed these levels and got any tips they can pass on?

Use celestial prayer?

For exper mode, I just died my way out.

Using three res cards per run

My personal suggestion is to breed chunkies and water types. I used my cygness and chunck to clean up fc exp. don't get me wrong it's still hard as hell but not impossible.

For my chunky I gave it meditate since all ice atks are magic, I'd bulk up 2 or 3 times then sweep the enemies with snowflake and icebeam. For my cyg I would just water bomb and soak as needed , also the water jet can be pretty clutch at times . Best of luck!!

Thanks for the advice! I'm breeding a trunky at the moment and cygness is next on my list (got a male to complete a breeding pair in eggs)

Re: How on earth do I complete frozen vet and expert mode

I used a combination of Ignightmare (where fire type permitted), Smiter (to finish off water and rock types), Chunky with cunning and chill, and Cygness with rain prayer and double water torrents (if I had soak, I would have used it too).

Where weather was able to be changed but I could not bring fire types, I occasionally used a Behemoth (now Brwany) to set up sand storm followed by a POD Scythe with resurrect, massive boulder, boulder, and martyrdom.

I needed a few resurrection cards each time in expert levels 7-10 through 7-15.

I don't have frozen caverns exp mod yet but I had a trick for normal mode : I started the level, if the blizzard was on, I just left and came back into the level until I get a sunlight :D

But as I said, I dunno if this trick is available in vet mode.
