Best Rhor build

Okay I've been searching and searching and I don't know what build is best for my pure S Rhor. Right now I am running Adrenaline, sharp claw and thunderstorm. I recently got super thunderstorm and am contemplating using it, which is better for ladder and should I switch my Rhor to Force3 and run super thunderstorm, adrenaline and super thunderstorm, force3 and thunderstorm or adrenaline and thunderstorm. I am sceptical of the idea of losing a turn. I always set up rain prayer with my Pewgway before Rhor comes out. Pleeeeaaase give me some insight on what the best combo is!

My S Rhor has lightning strike, Lightning, Super thunderstorm and thunder blast. In pvp I or team mate sets up with Rain prayer. I use thunder blast or lightning strike first until the rain takes effect. then is Super t storm time! Also has adrenaline and I use a helm for those pesky lupas and meniss.

I believe that this is a particularly lucrative build for Rhor (this is also the one I'm using):

Rhor
Talent: Force 3
Skills: Thunderstorm, Mind-Bending, Wind Blast, PoD/Super Thunderstorm/Lightning Strike

Force 3, in my opinion, is the most reliable and useful talent from Rhor's talent pool. However, Adrenaline is there if you don't like having your defence reduced but with the expense of having to kill monsters before it is activated. But, in my opinion, you should try and get Force 3.
Thunderstorm, in my opinion, is a must for any electric-type monster. With Force 3 and the STAB boost, it is a devastating move for this Rhor. Mind-Bending is there as, even though Rhor's skill increases its physical attack, its magical attack is still excellent. Wind Blast is there if you are facing a monster that you don't particularly want to face as there might be a few monsters that Rhor can't handle particularly well.
The last slot is from your preference. PoD is always good for Rhor as it will amplify its power even more and remove the defence decrease that Force 3 gives. Super Thunderstorm is if you know you'll have rain set-up before you sent Rhor out. In rain, you'll 1h kill a number of monsters! Lightning Strike is there because it is an AoE move and the best magical Electric-type move. It gets a STAB boost from Rhor as well.

I have super thunderstorm on Rhor because I cant get a elect ABC to save my life anymore. I also use this move as a last ditch shot when I know I am about to die or if its the last monster in PvE. I would like to have Thunderstorm and Electrical storm(If it had a better hit %) But I cant get a chest. I also have had no luck in the psychic and ghost BC areas. Maybe 1 day, hopefully soon.


I have found too that there really isnt a big deal to put anything else on Rhor except Physical skills and electric. PoD being an exception of course.

Mind-Bending is a good way to deal with Rock-types because they have low magic defence. That is one of the reasons why some Electric types can beat Rock types, even though they are at a disadvantage.

I actually don't recommend putting Normal skills on Rhor because his only weakness is ground and Normal type skills won't be excellent against those as they have pretty high defence. As I said, try and target their magical defence using Mind-Bending.

I included Super Thunderstorm as an option because it can be used in some situations but I find Thunderstorm much more reliable.

All very good points, but it looks like I'm back to square one. I'm aiming more for ladder. I already have thunderstorm on, but If I put super thunderstorm it won't use thunderstorm in ladder. Does superthunderstorm for sure immobilize you for the next turn? I don't want to waste skills I might even make a second s rhor and run super storm and force3.

For ladder, I suggest going with the skill set I already posted but choose PoD for the last slot and possibly sub-in Lightning Strike instead of Wind Blast.

Really, for ladder, you'd be using Thunderstorm most of the time. Super Thunderstorm is unreliable because of the side effect and unless you're sure you'll have rain set-up, it's not worth losing a turn for it.

I am choosing to remove Wind Blast as it is not really that useful in ladder than in PvP (in which, however, it is pretty excellent). PoD is a wise choice for ladder (as it is for pretty much all the monsters). With PoD, the only monster that can outrun you is a 2x Accelerated Neon and possibly another Rhor.

Do not waste Super Thunderstorm on this ladder Rhor. If you are planning on creating one for PvP or elsewhere, put it on this.

However, as I said, in rain, Super Thunderstorm is devastating.

For ladder, I don't see other moves that should be chosen above those I already suggested - but there might be 1 that I've forgotten (but most likely it wouldn't be better).
