Aurora Borealis, which mob should I give it to?

I don't have trunky
So is there an alternative that I can teach this skill to?

Because it lowers magic def, I'm kinda concerned

I thought about teaching to Skelly , but worried this will mess him up in ladder.

Please offer me some advice , thank you

Power is 120, side effects: lower mdef significantly

I don't think most of us know what it does other than getting hit by it in frozen cavern, sorry. Magic or physical? Damage? Side effect % chance?

If magical it might go well on Meniss or felicity who rely on strong fast attacks. Vertedeath should rely more on cunning and expect to go second I think.

I've only gotten Ice Beam so far from the Ice skills.

Good luck!

Trunky, hands down, you should get one, set up a blizzard and it won't be hindered by the MDEF decrease

.....uh,,,,I do have a blizzard, I think We got it as a reward for completing quest? Don't have a trunky scrolls yet, veteran mode is so hard,

Is the weather in FC veteran mode always blizzard? I tried like 20 times, always blizzard.

It's magical. I thought about giving it to Thor..but then, it will lower thor's mdef, which is already very low....

Re: Aurora Borealis, which mob should I give it to?

For Frozen Cavern Veteran mode, use a monster that can change the weather - maybe even a skill! It should make it easier for you to kill the monsters then - since they won't have the dodge rate increase! Try a Celestial Prayer-using Draco, Ignightmare, etc. You only need to use it on the first turn of every battle and seeing as the monsters are weak to your element, you won't get hit that much.

For Aurora Borealis, try and get a Trunky. It will obviously be great on him.
You can choose to give it to monsters with high magical attacks but those monsters will rarely use this as they tend to use attacks that have the same type as them for the power boost.
Good luck, pizy! We'll try to offer some help with the Veteran modes if you need it.

It's similar to massive boulder but lower mdef instead of def.

Thanks lex.

I will give it a try.

Just one more question, do you like trunky? Do you find him helpful?

I thought about the blizzard and borealis combo, but in that scenario,
Trunky will have to take two hits instead of one.

I don't think he can...so maybe I shold just give him borealis, and ignore the lowering of mdef?
