Re: New PVP scoring

If you don't lose you won't have this problem! ^_^ I think it doesn't make a difference if u get deducted 1,5 or even 20 pts if u fight ppl you have no chance of winning u will still get deducted. Just fight winnable oppositions and don't play with the big boys if ur weak. It's only fair that the strongest top the Pvp rankings anyway.

There's always people who lurk in pvp. I do. Ill wait to see someone start a room and fight em, even if I just get 1 integral it's worth it.

I do that so much people are scared to see me in pvp:/
They are even scared not to see me because they know I'm lurking in pvp all the time.:)

Re: New PVP scoring

In server 8, the top 20 pvp players agreed months ago not using jellys/potions. Much more interesting.
These who use it, loose anyway ;)

Re: New PVP scoring

I think the change in PVP scoring is a step in the right direction.

Another change I would like to see would be limiting the battles with the same players of significantly differing levels. What I mean by this is, if you have a score of 2500 and you beat a player with 1500, there would be some sort of "cool down" time until you can play that player again. And the cool down time doesn't have to be long, maybe ten minutes like in the Ladder. This should not only make boosting more annoying for those with multiple accounts, but also make it more fun for the majority of players. I know for myself, the biggest turn off is when I get pummeled by a person with Legendaries (don't even get a hit in), and then start another game and it's that same person, and then a third time with the same results. It's then that I take a break because I don't want to be used as a "booster" for another player and it's not fun for me to impotently watch on as my monsters get taken down over and over again by the same person.

And I hope I don't offend anyone. I'm of the mindset "don't hate the player, hate the game." I know the reason why this kind of gameplay is employed in the first place is because the game is set up in a way that forces high level players to play this way. So yea, something should be done about that too.
