Why do some monsters only have 3 slots for spells and not 4 like others?

That's with verte and rhor ithink but that is just an empty slot simply. Add a book or so

It's alright. Happened to me too when i was lvl 16

He ment something else. He wanted to know if monsters like Vertedeath only have 3 slots because they only learn skills in 3 of the slots.
