This video breaks down *why* we play games like Haypi Monster, I found it extremely interesting and will probably affect what games I choose to play in the future.

I've been digging pretty hard into the back catalogue to catch up on all the videos. Very interesting.

But while Im not going to dump this game, I am going to carefully consider this when playing games and committing money in the future.

Thank you for posting this. It has been a real eye opening look at not just Haypi Monster but many of the games I generally play.

I play these types of games a lot and while I'm not playing them they seem shallow and a complete waste of time. While I'm playing them though I can't seem to stop. While it might seem like a simple addiction, but in fact is just a play on the Skinner box theory.

This makes me want to explore the App Store to look for more inventive and satisfying games.
