About money and time

Alright I just wanted to know after reading these forum posts about breeding to S lvl, and buying chests and other monsters, are people that are doing these just buying the gold coins, and spending like 100 dollars to get vip 5 or something? Is there something I'm missing?

Yes, getting VIPs requires you to buy gold coins. It's the only way.
However, breeding doesn't require you to VIP - so does bless.

You can breed without gold, but it does take a lot of time grinding Team Mode to earn the silver.

I don't know about skill books. Given that you can only do so many Expert runs per day, you would need lots of money, time/persistence, or luck. Seems that some people must spend a fair bit of gold on re-spins.
