What determines XP per level?

What determines how much xp yo get from each level? Some times I get 600 for killing 2 monsters, sometimes same monsters but only get 300ish?

Re: Wht determines XP per level?

I'm guessing it depends on the lvl of monster you face and also the evolution. Final form may give more... and the zone your in might factor in also.

Boss fights should give more xp and team mode boss gives highest xp in game.

player level also matters. higher player level and vip level will get you more exp

Re: Wht determines XP per level?

I better clarify,

Example, vet canyon, roll a 3, fight 3 monsters, get X amount of xp. then roll a 2, fight (what looks like same 3 monsters) levels are same etc. and get Y xp at end.
It doesnt seem constant, except for team mode.

Does the clear my question up better? I guess next time ill write em all down specific. Ash keep it in mind and see if you see what im talking about?
Thanks

Re: Wht determines XP per level?

Grade maybe? One could be a D one could be a C? Or maybe it's based on duration and shorter battles means more exp?
Could be a couple reasons I guess

Not saying this is like Pokemon, but Pokemon exp was based on there HP. It's could be something like this. But my guess would be Grade + common/rare/epic etc the factors in exp.

Re: What determines XP per level?

I don't know about vet canyon, but I've been testing exp yields at low levels, and I see perfect consistency so far. It depends on the type of monster and its level.

For example, a level 12 Chowder or Ripper always gives 91 exp, lvl 12 Joey 101 exp, lvl 12 Armon 104 exp. At level 23: Geo and Armon yield 155 exp, Cursey 181, and Dodo 148. (I don't get VIP bonus to exp.)

It seems that the "native" monsters (water types in Miracle Sea, rock types in Stone Vault, etc.) all give the same exp when defeated, but the exotic types may yield more (usually) or less (Dodo, Leetle).

It doesn't seem to matter what level or type of monster I use to battle them.
It also doesn't matter whether it's a boss fight. Level 12 Ripper is the final monster for Miracle Sea 2-1, but you get the same exp as defeating lvl 12 Chowda in 2-4. Zone 2-3 has level-14 Oogway (epic) as its boss, but I get 98 exp, the same as a level-14 Katch in zone 2-6.
I can't say whether player level makes a difference; I've been on the same level whilst making my tests.

If you pick up a smiley star, then your exp will double; sad face will halve.

Hope that helps,

Re: What determines XP per level?

Let me revise that. It depends on the monster's level and its elemental type.

I met some more level 12 monsters:
Chowda (Miracle Sea 2-4) - 91 exp
Flare (Volcano 3-1) - 98 exp
Joey (Miracle Sea 2-4) - 101 exp
Armon (Miracle Sea 2-5) - 104 exp
Armon (Volcano 3-1) - 104 exp

So Armon gives the same exp, regardless of zone.

Here's some level 14 monsters:
90 exp - Maize (Miracle Sea 2-7)
98 exp - Katch, Chowda, Oogway (Miracle Sea 2-6, 2-7, 2-3)
106 exp - Lizzy (Volcano 3-2)
114 exp - Armon (Miracle Sea 2-8)

There seems to be a definite progression: Nature < Water < Fire (< Normal?) < Earth. This is the same order as the zones: Jungle - Miracle Sea - Volcano - Stone Vault. It's not hard to extrapolate this for other types.

So that's why a level 24 Cursie gives so much more exp than a 24 Dodo, or a 25 Leetle (121xp) so much less than a 25 Geo (164xp).
