Chat not working

the chat option does not seem to be working for me anymore. It use to work but for the past 2 days it's been broken. I don't see anyone talking either.

Is there anything sensible I could try to fix this?

Quite strange because chat works perfectly find for me on my Iphone 3Gs. OS 3.1.2 btw

after your reply chat started working again!
