Crops I have occupied show as available

As the title says, there have been a couple times that I will occupy a level 9 crop, and my troops will still be there and 2 or 3 hours later someone attacks it then pm's me saying "sorry it showed as unoccupied when I searched the map". Is this common?

it could be a couple of things
1. lag so it didnt show
2.they used that as an excuse to attack you (not trying to be mean but its very possible this happened)
3. ? (pretty sure there's something just couldnt think of it at the time, might change this later)

It means while you were attacking, they attacked it. Their troops will NOT attack. They will go back once they reach the oasis and find that it is taken.

thats possible but not in this case, it says 2 or 3 HOURS that would happen within a couple minutes if it even took that long
