Guide to Avoiding Getting Hacked/Scammed

Ok guys, whether you've heard it or not, scams
to steal or hack into your account are on the
rise, and I've prepared this to have the know-
how to protect yourselves. A lot of them might
be obvious no-brainers, but they'll be covered
anyway.

First, we'll go over how to avoid getting hacked.

1. Make sure all your accounts have different
passwords. Because if a hacker has got one
of your accounts, they'll have all of yours.

2. Don't take "free" accounts from random
people. If you recieve any accounts, make
sure there from people YOU trust.

3. Don't let any of your friends or relatives
play on your accounts. Also don't share
accounts with another person.

Second, we'll go over scams you might be
fooled by or come across.

1. Free Coins
All of these are fake scams to attempt to
access your account, don't trust ANYBODY. Be realistic, nobody on haypi is a selfless philanthropist!

2. Free prestige.

Self explanitary similar to coins. Not possible,
mostly.

3. Cheats

Ok this is just BS never believe it at all in any
situation. There are none.

4. Account Advancing
A new scam goin around on Server 1 possibely
others and it is somebody saying that if you
give them your password, they will get you to
level 10 in 1-2 weeks, or if your already level
10 they'll get you up 2 levels in that same time
span. Don't fall for it newer players of Haypi!

Last, the ways they Steal your Account

Most times your account is hacked, it is
because somebody let's you on their
account, or you let them on yours. If
there on yours, they will almost definately
change the password. If you recieve an
account and change the password, make
sure it's not the same as your mains. Why,
you might ask? Because they will stay on
your new account for about an hour, then
they can press recover password which will
send them the brand new password, you
just entered, then use it to break into your
account if the password is the same.

As I said, a lot of this is common sense, but
some people lack this. Remember this and
spread it to your friends! Copy and paste
this to your alliance! Spread the Word!
Protect Haypi from Hackers!

Re: Guide to Avoiding Getting Hacked/Scammed

What if experts on other servers that come back to visit servers ask "hey I've a extra account on this server, want to share it with me so you can visit other servers, I collect accounts?". Is this a way for an expert to talk?

Personally, I don't think ANYONE should be sharing accounts. But that's just my opinion. It leads to the possibility of problems when someone gets mad over one thing or another and then changes passwords without permission. Besides account "collecting" could be considered cheating based on the new limits the admins have set.

Thanks St4r! Btw this is circling around server 1 right now starting with Nidahoro2. It'd be great if some people on other servers picked it up and spread it to the other servers guys!
