You can also find some achievement info in....
Help tab --> Support --> Achievement.

But I think what you meant was a guide on the easiest ways to get achievement points....

I have a first gen Ipod so I can't/don't use game center so I don't use achievement.

There's isn't really one.
Easiest ones are probably Beginner, Junior, Senior Professor, Master Professor, Efficient Speed=Up, Junior Technician, Senior Technician, Master Persuader/Master Healer/Sneak Attacker, Entrepreneur
