Re: Cav guide: oasis and forts

but if you post them as a guide isn't it telling people these are the recommended amount? If someone does follow them it just means they will make alot more units than otherwise necessary which could save them days or even weeks of preparation.

I say it all depends on the setup and the ultra conservative guides are really more misleading than helpful, there was someone in my alliance who didn't think he can take down level 10 forts since he thought he really needed 18k cats because he read it on a guide somewhere, I asked about his stats and told him to go for it and he got it easily with 12k.

I'm not saying it's not good to have these guides but I believe there should be some notes to explain how the changes in your stats drastically affect these numbers so people don't just take it at face value.

Why not take the other 2 guides you made (the inf and arch ones) and put them together making it alot easier to find them...

But Thx finally I can use my cavs :D

you cant ever win a battle against a fort or oasis using just cav and suffer no losses.. even if you send 200k cav to a level 1 fort you will suffer a loss.. probably only 1 or 2 cav but a loss none the less.
i think it should be mentioned that you will suffer a loss when using mono cav, cos it seems people expect it to be like the cat fort guide where the numbers are for no losses

Thanks for the guide. But to agree with everyone, I think your #'s may be a little off.
