~~Common Misconception~~
•It does not matter the level of oasis or fort u hunt, the probobility is all the same! Do not hunt the same spot twice in succesion though. The sucess rate of the hunt will be worse.

there is a probability difference for each level oasis :)

the type of oasis matters tho i think... doesnt it? (ex: iron gives more money and wood gives more treasure)
S118 (103) (12) - JacobJew - Level 16
S92 - _Jacob_ - Lvl 4
Also inactive in servers: 117, 121, 113, 109, and 86.

Well you can throw those occupy fort numbers out the window. Oh yea and send your whole army to carry more resources. Sent 1,000 troops, 500 cavs, 500 cats to lvl 2 fort. Between the turrents and traps, I came home with 4500 resources and 378 cats.

Re: Expert Swifts Haypi Guide :)

When attacking a fort it's best to wait all your troops from the start.
Field length = range of the highest range troop + 300. So if you bring catapults and you have level 0 shooting the field length will be 800 (range) + 300 = 1100.

Because cavalry with no speed move forward 300, they will move just barely into the range of your catapults, enabling your catapults to attack them (and hopefully kill them all). In the second round, the infantry with no speed will move forward 150. (Infantry have a base speed stat of 150.) This means they will move forward 300 by the second round, enabling your catapults to hit them without having to move forward. :P
Although most of the time, unless you have a massive amount of catapults, you will not completely wipe the infantry from the map. the 3rd turn the archers will have moved forward 125 x 3 = 375, enabling you to hit the archers. You will most likely crush the archers :D and so will only have the infantry left. If there are traps/turrets just advance catapults to wipe the turrets and use infantry to disable the traps, which only should take 1 or 2 inf per trap.
Typed out a whole lot of stuff and just deleted it because I was getting off topic.

Edit: You may have to move catapults forward if the field length is higher than your shooting range + 300. You can tell whether you have to move catapults forward by this formula:
(Your highest unit (in the battle) range + (16 * Level of Shooting Tech) + 300). If the number is higher when you look at field length than advance your catapults. If the number is the same then don't.

Re: Expert Swifts Haypi Guide :)

Quick question. If speed affects hunting, would you get less profit by hunting infantry with cats than hunting them separately or is this not the case?
