I dont see why you would post such a vague guide. this will surely cause the untimely demise of many peoples precious armies because they go by the weight your name carries.

If you dont have time for an accurate guide, its not a valid excuse to post an inaccurate one! There are far too many variables for this intel to work properly on the battlefield. While it may ring true for one scenario, it is unlikely you will ever find yourself in a situation like the one this intel provides for!

Edit: are you implying that the infantry unit is the most effective unit? Even more so than cats and cav? Im confused....

yep infantry are most effective: look at them u can take 4 times more inf the cav.... but theyre only half slower but compared more def + attack

This is a classic example of what we've come to expect from self proclaimed 'prophets' of Haypi of late. You've taken one element of a complex system, extrapolated, and come to a nonsense conclusion.

I'm not sure if you and your ilk are deliberately being obtuse to hold an advantage, or whether you're just unable to express a greater strategy. I am truly fed up of the "I know better" posts that I repeatedly find cropping up on the forum. How does that help?
I refer to stuff like this: (found :http://haypi.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=59&t=6539&start=10)

U: ".... i think the battle formula is false....."
"Why Uranos? Why would it be incorrect?"
"look into mine (coz i know the battle formula)"

Another user then asks for the link to the right section ... but that hasn't materialised yet. Why nitpick someone else's work, without providing constructive criticism? Why tell me, in PM on S13, that "You can't know the battle mechanics, because only I do" ?

It's not just this post, or just you, so don't feel singled out. All of you "experts" need to drop the ego's and help .. or don't bother.

As it stands, the problem with using mass infantry as a strategy is the same as using mass cavalry - prestige gain is hard or none.
The problem infantry have over cavalry is that they are slower, so offer an additional "free shot" on them from catapults / archers before they're in range.

Infantry vs catapults stacked in attack & fortune is a terrible idea. Even if you do win your prestige gain will be negligible and, crucially your retrain time will be ridiculous.

You simply cannot take one small part of a unit's abilities and post it as a "guide."

The only use this has is "how many of each unit type do I need to station at an oasis to prevent 1 cav being send to take it?"

lol why is the goal always get prestige? the goal should be: Have fun! Also a win is a win... if u useother armies u could have lost.

2. im not telling formula coz i dunno tht its spreading... y? i dunno if support wants it... i asked for battle formula got an answer... asked another support for battle formula + hunt formula got NO answer

Also its my secret weapon... if u dont like guide, dont read it
