Guide to Quickly Gain Rank

I have been playing for a few months now and noticed that many of the posts in the WC are asking for highly ranked players. I haven't seen a guide to ranking up quickly. It may seem obvious to some, but to others it is not.

In order to gain rank you need to gain prestige. This is done quickly by 1 of 2 ways.

1- Build as many units as possible
2- Win prestige in battles

The easier of the 2 ways is to build as many units as possible.

The best way to do this is to always have your timer running in all of your barracks. When you first start you will want to conentrate on your buildings. Try to keep 2 buildings upgrading at all times. Once you have mastered that you will have the resources to build infantry. I have noticed alot of resources being sold on the auction house, basically what you are doing is selling your prestige. So I would recommend building units with those resources. Your units will gain money for you when you are hunting, so the money comes fast once you have over 10k of any given unit. You will get the best of both worlds by building units. Both money and an army.

I have gone from rank 120 to rank 66 in 4 days by simply keeping my 2 barrack timers in all my cities running as much as possible.

Also I wanted to add, that cats are very slow. I would hunt with faster units in order to get more money. The faster the unit the better the hunt.

1. you should include that a great way to keep resources flowing is to raid forts for resources. I have a small listing here in the guides section to give you an idea of what you need. Once you have the cats required, any inf you send just carries back more resources. 2. Under your kingdom management section there is an option called add vip time. It costs coins but trust me it is totally worth it to have that third slot for upgrading and training. 3. S12 markets shouldn't be all too bad right now so you should focus on selling some of those resources to max your techs now before the market gets stuck at .01-.03 per unit forever. This will make achieving option two on your list much easier to obtain 4. At max warehouse and a high level main you can train up to 2496 inf, 599 cav, 1404 arc or 249 cat in one load. With vip and a maxed main you can train two full loads and a partial before you run out of people. The troops you select for pure prestige gain do matter. Archers yield the most prestige gain per unit trained, cavalry then infantry and lastly catapults. Balancing prestige gain against battle readiness is important. Good luck
