Jo's guide

Hey, imma write y'all a guide :). Its long, but reading it will deff help.

To start off, the best way to grow big in haypi a few things are required.

1) All skill points in speed till 100
2) spend time in ac, it does help ALOT
3) if you need a guide, go to "help > forum > general discussion > haypi guides > SEARCH AROUND FOR A GUIDE FROM NATHAN05 WHICH IS A GUIDE COMPILATION." In this compilation you will find EVERY guide u'll EVER need. Its ALL TRUE.
4) Go discover. When you see a guide, go proof everything what's in there. Study field lengths and the way commanding works. Go actually read war reports. It will help a ton.
5) DONT be "safe" when taking forts or oasis or hits. Pushing urself to the limit is the only thing that really counts and will bring you to the top.
6) Try out different army types. There are no "best" armys and every army has his advantages. I prefer starting with inf/cat since its cheap and easy to use. Later on i go to calv/arch but others may prefer mono inf, mono cav, mono arch, or go on with inf/cat or cav/cat.

Inf = infantery
ca(l)v = calvary
arc(h) = archer
cat = catapult/siege engine

To start off, after your beginners protection, farm (= atting forts/players for resources) all the ha_a's around you. It are inactive players. Send 32 cav or 40 inf per ha_a. Please dont attack active players, they will get mad.

Forts. Only farm forts, or use them for railroads (aka fort warp, loop, and 100 other terms. Just search for it in the guide compilation to find how it works). Cash output is useless.

When farming, we are talking about cats, and inf OR cav (enuff to carry all res, check barracks > overload how many each troop carrys) and cat for now. Ill explain mono inf/cav and cav/arch later.

To farm forts, getting ur shooting tech to lvl 8 is very important. Lvl 9/10 doesnt matter but 8 is very handy. It will give another round in the battle.

The first thing to do is finding out how many cats you need. This way ill explain, you will have 9 rounds with ur cats to attack or 8 when ur shooting is lower than 8. Find out how many infantery your cat cqn kill by atting an oasis or fort lower then you wanna take and see how many inf will be killed in one round. Multiy this number by 8/9 and see if you got 'nuff to kill the fort. Just scout the fort to see how many infs it has.

Example: my 200 cats kill 480 infs per round. I got lvl 9 shooting tech (its 8+). 480 X 9 = 4320. A lvl 2 fort has 4000 infs. 4320 is over 4000 so you got 'nuff.

The actual commanding requires 30 speed+ to let your archer move before the inf, see further on: send 1,all,1,all (inf/cav/arc/cat) or all/1/1/all.

On round one, wait everything. Cat targets cav. Usually, the cav will be killed in one turn. If not, wait till ur cavs will kill the remains. If you got inf, forward the infs on round 3 and kill off the calv, too bad you'll have some losses, exept with REALLY high speed. Round 4, backward infs again.

In round 2, let ur cat target infs. Wait everything

In round 3, let ur cats target arch.

Round 4 - 8/9 let ur cat target inf, still wait all. Its 8 when shooting tech under lvl 8, its 9 when shoot lvl 8+.

Round 9/10: forward your single infantery OR cav (depends which army u use, the cav/cat (then inf) or inf/cat (then cav). This way, the single unit moves before the inf and prevent the inf from walking. This is called a "meatshield"

round 10/11: forward your arc.

After that, forward cats to clear eventual turrets, when they are cleared backward cats forward inf/cav to clear eventual traps.

When you scout another player (higher scout than his required) and all resources are equal, for example all 449300, he is inactive. Send 1 calv to scout his wall and if its not too big, clear it, and attack him several times a day to get his resources. Its called inactives farming. He is inactive so wont care about his res. If he gets active again, stop doing it immediately.

mono cav forts: just let them go, no commanding required, you will always have some losses but with high defense and heal they aint much. Just guess (or use the guide) to see how many you need, id say 2k for lvl 1 so you can carry all res, a little less than double for lvl 2 but depends on stats. Same for mono inf but not much ppl use mono inf since you'll have alot of losses. on the forum (in the nathan05 guide compilation) is a guide with needed cavs if you fill in your attack stat, it helps a ton, its a whole big pdf with every att stat :).

Cav/arch commanding same story just less losses OR wait both on backline till round 7 then forward to kill remaining cats or no forwarding with lvl 1 - 5 forts.

Enhancing equipment: ONLY with lvl 15 equip. When hunting enhance stones, just enhance, when using coins put them into enhance stones in the treasure shop first to reduce losses. Completely close and reopen app before retrying after a fail. I only had 5 fails lvl 15 > 20 enhance while u usually have about 15 - 20 fails :).

When you see a nice guide, copy paste (or screenshot) it to a noteblock app, just download one. Its much easyer to keep than keeping ur letter box clean since 30 is max while its not weird to get 1000 letters a day (scout reports) later on in the game.

Thanks for listening,
