Hunting

Okay so I have recieved a couple of letters, PM, etc. asking which way is the best way to hunt. This isn't my strongest catagory of knowledge, but I'll answer as best I can. (Please reply to correct me if I'm wrong!)

Hunting at high ranked oasises.
Hunt with ALL your troops.
I'm not 100% sure, but occupying and hunting in your own oasis seems to work.

I also have a few guides I made, I'll post them later on this week.

Re: Hunting

Probably one of the most important things is to hunt an oasis that hasn't been hunted in recently. Perhaps that's why you think it's best to hunt your own oases, as others can't hunt there. If you hunt in your oases that you just harvested a hunt from, it defeats the purpose of hunting there.

More clarification on hunting parties.....the idea is that better harvests come from troops with the highest speed. In this case, I don't know why it's always suggested to hunt cats with archers, as cats are abysmally slow and archers are not.

And one other suggestion from the developers that was left off your list....optimal hunting times are 8-12 hours. Though it's generally suggested by players to not hunt any longer than that, the developers have also said that the longer you hunt, the better the harvest.

My personal advice? Don't hunt at all, it's for the birds.
