Traps vs turrets

Which is better - traps or turrets - an reasons why!!

I believe that turrets are better. They have a range which may be I'm proved and can stop invasion instead of slowing it like traps that only slow forces when you've already lost. Hope this help you.

Turret damage far outweighs that of traps.
However if you're a user of the convince skill, traps are your better option.

Traps also cost a lot less to build so are better suited to lower levels on a tight resource budget.
At higher levels, rebuilding level 10 turrets nets some nice prestige.

at lvl 7 or 8 (cant remember) and below traps r better but at lvl 9 and 10 turrets are better because turrets have farther shooting then cats. unless your in a new server and everyones cats have low shooting then like 3+ turrets would temp be better but dont take me up on that.
im backish i quit the main game atm slowly comeing back forum is a start XD

Yes.
Turret range upgrades by 50 per level starting at 600(archers starting range). So....600-650-700-750-800-850-900-950-1000-1050. The maximum Catapult range is 960.

Field length is highest range+range tech+300.

Turrets have their own range tech already included. (though i've heard of a friend saying he saw a field length of 1400, which makes no sense. If anyone has seen 1400 field length, i want to know...)

level 10 turrets and shooting gives me 1350 field length. . .

same here. I believe turrets come with their own shooting tech, maximum of 1350. I wish i had a quick way to test that the tech range has no affect on turrets. LOL^^ :|

Traps are better until you have upgraded turrets past lvl 8, otherwise cats will sit back and take them out
