It's only a chance, isn't it?
And I heard that you have to earn the value of the treasure's npc price and have a bit of luck (fortune helps) for it to be converted, so 5000 infantry for 12 hours would work in that case... if that's right

This was released by support? When and where? I've always heard that there is no benefit to hunting over 12 hours.

I don't know when I just knew it was released. Ya I believe fortune helps but it also involves alot of luck! I've heard about hunting for about 12k gold and you might get a gem. I think it works it just involves luck ;)

Yeah im sorta confused, ive seen that huide and not sure i it works but i just hunt for 8-12 and it seems to work ok... Also people say that the type and lvl of the oasis matters, like lvl 9 wood you are more likely to get treasures, Is this true or not?

I think that no one really knows. My guess is the guy that made the formula for haypi died and took it to his (or her) grave. So now even haypi don't know whats up lol.

In my own very limed and undocumented experience, you get better money per hour with 2-4 hour hunts and the level of oasis doesn't make a difference. If anyone ever figures out and posts the formula, I think it will be the day the world ends.
