Re: ECONOMIC DOMINATION

The trick is to inform the res sellers what you're doing. Then not only do you have an alliance on your side, but you have the crop sellers on your side as well.

Re: ECONOMIC DOMINATION

I have read this and followed it and have a substantail ammout of money. But one down fall... I cant sell crop anymore because i am part of a alliance so how am i supposed to make all this money now? nobody really buys wood, iron or rock. I am currently rebuilding and losing money now.

I think that this guide is perfect for beginners and people who usually are not part of massive alliances. But that just an opinion...

Re: ECONOMIC DOMINATION

Very true, Nate, I was looking at this the other day and thought the same lmao! Edit is in order.

@kwai: you are right, needing to feed an alliance army does hinder things, doesn't it? Truth be told, if everyone in an alliance does their part to feed the troops, you should be able to capitalize on those crop prices several times a day. I've been in an alliance where just about every hour I needed to feed the troops, due to lack of help from allies. Likewise, I've been in an alliance where people have called me out for selling crop that they bought to feed alliance troops with!
There's a balance as to what a loyal ally may sell as opposed to donate. If this threshold is nonexistent or negligible than you are probably not in the most team oriented alliance. If you are one who feeds the troops when necessary, your alliance very well knows this and shouldn't hassle you for selling your crop.
I would also like to point out, that I have been faced with this very problem and found it very manageable to use all my population for selling crop, and farming all crop I donated to my alliance from inactives. 3 farming parties at a time with attack times under 3 minutes and I'm able to farm around 2-3 million crops in just 5 minutes (due to none of my farms having defenses).
So, fill up alliance warehouse, then sell crop.

It's true though, economic domination is much easier to attain when an alliance need not focus on feeding their own troops, but rather disrupting the feeding of their enemies troops.

EDIT: it's important to not fall into the alliance feeding trap. Your alliance should not rely on YOU for food, but ALL ALLIES for food. Too often we have alliances where 5 people bust their chops to keep 1 million cats fed, while the rest of the alliance does little or nothing. Being a successful warlord means having a strong team, and a strong team is one that works together for the same ends. You should not expect to dominate this game economically if you spend all your time taking care of other people.
A lil bit off topic, I know, but I think that's what's holding you back, Kwai.

There are 2 allies with a million cats they work hard and spend hard. I can make both go broke. But I dont want to. Since they don't compete with us and don't attack us. I just make money off of them ! 

Re: ECONOMIC DOMINATION

Good for you bro, it's no small wonder why no one has done this to them yet. It was my intention with this guide to point it out because when I wrote it, there was a lot of moaning about mine wars not having enough strategy involved.
For what it is and what it ain't, mine wars hasn't taken anything away from gameplay, just added to it.
