Hunting for profit

 What Matters:

How many troops

total load of army

how many different types of troops in the hunt group
  The only use for archers 
 is hunting and meat shield

time your hunting maxing out
     around 8hrs though (except for big gain hunts see bottom)

Do you have to hunt for 24hrs for gens and nuggets - NO

                2hr harvest

You either get an item or not the level is based on hunting party size
not so much the time

I test hunted with 100k inf
12hr harvest  $24k
24hr harvest  $24k
2hr harvest   $10k

  I took 50k inf out and substituted
     5k cav 1k arch 1500 cats

12hr harvest $27-$28k
2hr   harvest $12k-$15k

Hunting is basically like pulling on a slot machine. It all
based on luck and when you win the more you have in the more you can
win

Fortune has little
   to NO effect on hunts 

 Successful hunts also give small
        amounts of prestige Prestige from Hunt=money x 0.02

Hunting your troops is like a box of chocolate you never know what
your going to get 

oasis only (I know it doesn't  work on every oasis)

People always wanna know how to get a better hunt. Here are tips which
may help you.
The money you get from a hunt is
(cav no. 300
+inf no. 150
+archer no. 125
+cat no. 50)  total second hunted / oasis value

This equation only works if your hunt is determine as successful by
the system and I don't know how does it determine it..once
your hunt is successful the money you get should be equal to the
equation output.There is a limit of the equation: the maximum value
must not be greater than troop no.troop speed/30

Fortune gives the power to convert money into treasure and unrelated
to the money you get.The treasure you get is approximately the max
Price of the hunt.

So if you want to hunt a nugget you need 5,000 in the equation and
some luck to convert it to a nugget but not a lv5 ring.Any output over
35,000 will be automatically convert to a treasure so you can never
hunt more than 35,000 money

How is harvest related to hunt?

The strategy may alter as we're always trying to improve the algorithm. However, these rules are consistently applicable:
1. The more troops you send to hunt and the faster the troops march, the better harvest you may get.
2. Theoretically, the longer you troops hunt, the better harvest you may get. If the troops hunt for over 8 hours, you may get extraordinary harvest.
3. The higher your fortune value is, the better harvest you may get. 
4. If you hunt on an oasis which has just been hunted by another player, the possibility of harvest may be low. If you happen to hunt on an oasis which is untouched for long, the possibility of harvest may be high.

Also ppfpr hunts is 1/50 which s nearer 0.025

I think i found out something about the time when an oasis gets from a hunted one to a unhunted one. If nobody harvested a hunt from the oasis you want to hunt for 24 hours you get the full value wich depends on speed... as described above. If there was harvested a hunt more than 12 hours ago but less than 24 hours ago you get a bit more than the half from the value you should get from a unhunted oasis. If the oasis was hunted the last 12 hours you get nothing.
And sometimes (this is very rare) you get amazing things from small hunts. Once i got a scepter from hunting around 1,5k cats for 5 hours. And this scepter was not in a box! I really dont know what you have to do hunt like this but i know only a few players wich had such a hunt too. Probably i will find out if you can achieve this whenever you want but i think its only a question of extremely high luck

Has anyone ever tested this? I quite enjoy hunting and have 160k inf with just hunt for 8x3 or 12x2 times aday. I have never got any Lvl15 equiptment but have received 29kish money before.

It seems like every time I got over 30k hunt value it just changes into a gold box (not want I want)

lmao i dont know who gave you this guide but its not very good, ive tried and tested it and never got anything from it.
also its highly unpractical to hunt for 90 hours as it is 90 hours that you cant use your troops for

I have tried this out three times but it didnt work. The first time i had a hunt with 50k inf for 90 hours (lvl 15 equipment) and 30k inf for 90 hours (medal). From theese hunts i got 14k and 18,5k money but no treasure. The money i got was far not enough for the treasures i should have got. Anothertime i had 100k inf hunting for a lvl 15 manual and this time i got a medal. This formula probably works if you have max marching skill and lvl 15 horse and manual enhanced to lvl 20 but i dont think so.
As said from my first hunt with 50k inf i got 18,5k money and from 100k inf i got a medal wich is worth 20k npc i guess its better to take ways bigger troops but not for such a long time like 90 hours

12 hours with as many inf as I can keep alive works for
Me. Try hunting the npc of the item. (trial error recallibrate and try again)

Eg 150k inf for 12 hours gets 29k
Next time try 155k inf or 12.5 hours
