Cav/arch vs cav/cat

at this point i would not like to say one is better than the other but merely that they are better at different things.

i have found that the cav/archer army that is heavy on cavs (eg 1k/200k/50k/0 etc) seems to be a good force for killing others army however most of the time heavily losses are sustained (against cat/cav armies) and minimum prestige is gained. against other cav/arch armies having first hi usually can lead to major prestige gains.

cat/cav armies seem to be the best at gaining prestige. i have found then when i find troops out of level 15-17's using cav/ archer is pretty useless as the pp won will be crippled by the prestige calculator. considering this a cat/cav army will sustain minimum losses in these situation when commanding right.

cav/arch = army killer
cav/cat = prestige gainer

btw I do know there are exceptions to the rule however i present this point for your consumption and your choice. this is how i view the situation. make up your own mind but i hope his has given you some insight into how you want to run your army depending on your goal within haypi kingdom
how do you let people know if your hot cakes are selling well?

Re: Cav/arch vs cav/cat

After reading this and trying both i think that the best army is cav/cat.
While one of the biggest points for arch is the speed, i think that most hits that are of a decent size you will be required to coin drop anyways, as most people with larger armies willl hunt.......Unless baiting
By the time you figure out the crop consumtpion vs killing power cats still end up on top.............
everyone uses troops differently and this is merely my 2 cents lol
Just looking for a start!
