You can still take people on when your cats advance 99. I know people who have won battles with it.

yes you will win a few battles but as soon as you come across someone with greater speed you better have a hell of an army to take the losses

Re: Traps vs turrets

I think traps are better, because the enemie can't attack them. On the other hand they can't attack so good

Re: Traps vs turrets

Turrets are far better at higher levels, traps are ineffective and barely do any damage at all to the opponent

Re: Traps vs turrets

traps are really not useful when they are on there own level 10 and maximum persuade can help but not much damage.

turrets are highly affective at level 9+10 only cost a lot in resources to get there, however can be destroyed by cats with no losses and cav army can wipe them out with only 2k losses.

my advice is a combination of both traps/turrets on your wall.

Re: Traps vs turrets

traps can be useful as long as during the battle if you know you are going to lose then you try and kill all the attackers infs, cavs and archers. then the traps become really quite effective at high levels

Re: Traps vs turrets

I personally dont think traps are good in any sitiation. If i attack lvl 10 traps with cats i'll loose 20 cavs per trap. For 15 traps this is 300 cavs. But i loose 76 cavs to a lvl 10 turret per round. This causes me a loss of about 2k which is ways higher

Re: Traps vs turrets

actually as a quick guestimate you lose 40 cats per level 10 turret meaning

15 x 40 = 600 cats = 6000 prestige

using cavs against turrets presuming your cavs hit the turrets 2 round means 77 cav losses per turret per round

15x 77+ 10x77+5x 77= 2310=9240

however traps are a sure fire way to ensure any attacker will lower there prestige gained... turrets can be destroyed with no losses hence there advantage
