Hahaha True. Just the numbers were too accurate, so got me wondering. Definitely a lot of out of class math. Saves me from it though, so its much appreciated.

Re: Modified Troop Ratings

Lmao, thanks, but I actually did pretty poorly in math class, of I remember accurately from all those years ago.

In truth, the help section of the haypi website tells you this information in a not so cut and dry way. I simply did the math that the developers pointed out.

One of the big problems with the modifiers is that they are percentages of the BASE attribute of a unit, etc, NOT a percentage of the modified attribute. That's why each point spent on an attribute gives the same exact modifier as any other for the same unit and attribute. It is a common misconception among players, to calculate these percentages off numbers theyve already modified.

I'm really glad so many people enjoy and find this info useful. In truth, this data may be used for an infinite amount of purposes. Everything from reverse engineering an enemies stats from a war report, to devising new and interesting tactics for individual units, based on speed, range, defense etc.

Thanks, and happy hunting!!!

By far and away the best guide here. Nearly the only one you'll ever need
how do you let people know if your hot cakes are selling well?

I find it hard to believe, I was actually good at Math (or so Im told)
but by golly I hate Haypi Math.
But you are absolutely correct. I first used it to calculated my own numbers, but since then, I have used mostly on other peoples stats. Im still not good at pin pointing the numbers but gets you excited about doing it since you made it easy ;) How I wish no one else finds this guide, lol

Nathan, I have a used a couple of your guides too. The fort port guide by you is defiantly the most easy one to understand.

Re: Modified Troop Ratings

Could you explain exactly how defense works? Does it add to the total life of the unit or does it take the attack and subtract the attack before being applied to life?

Re: Modified Troop Ratings

(number of units x attack of a unit) - (number of units x(defence+life [of a unit]))= how many of the enemy troops will be killed
