Messaged admin1 and said that update has been submitted to Apple just gotta hope they hurry up!

I know Sickness. Dunno when update was submitted coz admin1 didn't tell me but if was submitted yday (when he replied) might not be released until 21st (15 day estimate) but hopefully was submitted sooner and Apple are quick to approve

Could a dev or support post something on their forums?

iTunes surely would email them saying something, "we have received your update and estimate xx/xx/xxxx will be released"

Yes i know Apple is power hungry and are tightly lipped but come on really??

Just makes you wonder why Support or Devs have not posted anything here DIRECTLY?

It will come hopefully soon server 8 is tanking due to delayed release, as I'm sure others are as well. I would estimate 50% loss of players in 2 WEEKS! I myself have slowed down some. Without tree at lvl 34 roco and 32 lava it gets boring very fast. Pvp room always empty now so just log out and wait for Laputa to reset. Do boss lvl now and then, daily tasks take all of an hour maybe. SO you would think either Haypi woould be on Apple arse or get android version going Now!
I was out for 6 days sick, logged in today hoping for update but no, I think 6-12-2012 it will come. Seems apple updates on tuesdays to me. too bad i will be in Disney World!!

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Everyone needs to relax and enjoy the game as it is while we wait for the next update. I look at my game and I see: new people joining, zero personal dragons that are level 40, player level isn't 40, new pvp competition as players develop, the list goes on. Enjoy the game as it already is, and be ecstatic when the update comes out. If you don't put a date on the update release, you won't be disappointed!
