Level creator pack/contest

I've seen a few similar games use a feature like this.

Basically you buy a package (maybe 9.99 USD) and it allows you the option to create your own levels.

Select the background, and then have a side bar where you can select blocks and materials and use the iphone/ipod's multi-touch abilities to drag and drop and expand to form our own levels.

They could be saved, and we could invite our friends to play against us pvp style.

If you wanted to make it a contest, players could submit levels to the developers for the three new scenes which have yet to be opened. It would take a little bit of pressure off the developers, and would let us feel a sense of ownership of the game.. that were all working together.

Rewards... honestly i'd be perfectly fine with my name next to the level number "created by: Gilbatorix" I think it would be cool!

I just feel like it would add a whole new host of creative thinking, and the maps would be very fun to play!

Reminds me of a game called stick arena...

Great idea, would love to build some levels!

That would be amazing, despite sounding a little complicated to implement. If all levels were accessible by everyone online though, it would clog up server space really fast I'd think.

Perhaps a similar idea, there could be a level-designing competition. Top 45 entries get made into an entire stage, every entrant can submit at most 1 regular level and 1 boss level, the grand winner being the one who wins the boss level.

But custom levels would definitely be awesome, no matter the manner in which we get them.
