Dragons: biomechanical?

So we have dragons that fire canons off their backs. Has this been explained? I mean....yeah, dragons, mythological creatures and all. Cool idea. But canons? Where'd that come from? What twisted and malevolent god could come up with such an affront to nature? What's next, tigers with handguns? Elephants with RPGs? Men running around with twinkly firing hyenas surgically attached to their arms?

i like the idea of elephants with rpgs. that should be the next worlds boss dragon/elephant (desert selva or prairie) with 1% catch rate and starrt at lvl 20
