Pvp ranking

This is pertaining to the pvp score ranking. The "points" as you may call them.

I'm sure this is a larger problem on some servers and not others, but I can only speak for s2.

We have many people who have worked their way to the top in previous versions of pvp where you could dc and save your points, and then they quit to save their ranking.

So it is harder for us to advance without their points.

Here is my suggestion:
Make the pvp ranking system reset monthly just like the tree. Give it its own separate medal next to the players name. Rewards dont even need to be given..! This will satisfy all of the active members.

Second suggestion:
Make a base gain stat. It would mean that the numbers are always increasing. So for instance.. make a 2 point gain for match played regardless of points won or lost. This would exert positive pressure upon the point totals which would allow us to eventually pass up people who have ditched playing pvp to save their rank.

I think bring down everyone's PVP score everday(maybe 10 points) is a good pratice. If you don't play it, your rank will go down. This is fair to every one.

Sorry abinchen, but if that does happen for people with rankings like 2400+, then that would be a serious hindrance... It's hard to gain points at that level and losing ten a day... That's too much! :O

Since EVERY ONE reduces a certain point, the rank will not be affected. For active players, they can easily win back their points, and for non-active ones, their rank will keep going down until out of the list.
