Black Monster Thing

anyone remember the short cut-scene at the beginning of the game? there was a big black monster-dragon that was sealed away by leshy and crystal. then that monster breaks free or something and his minions invade the world. You find a Roco and the two of u goon a journey to stop this guy and his minions (the eggys, megalons, and canibal fairys). well im just wondering what happened to the black monster. is he ever gonna make an appearance? what was his purpose?

Maybe that black monster was the Devil himself?

I don't think so, the black monster would appear as final boss of HD, it's not possible that the game keep continuing the story after defeating the black monster, that's my opinion.
