PvP - Unbalanced as hell
- Opponent pairing seems to be completely random. You can get a 35+ level opponent just as easily you can get paired against a newbie. What is the interest I ask, of a newbie to play his first PvP game against an expert and get creamed in a single shot? I'm pretty sure it isn't very interesting for the expert either.
- The game rewards players even for losing battles (seemingly to offset the PvP pairing imbalance). I can't count how many times my dragon has gotten the 1500+ XP "Combat a Foe" award, despite losing. What I've come to realize is that I can level up my dragon a lot quicker by playing a bunch of useless, completely unentertaining PvP matches than I would using the Dragon Eyrie or farming through levels.
- Dragons of similar levels were paired against each other.
- The system rewarded players for WINNING battles rather than merely participating, or if at least the participating rewards weren't so big.
I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who feels about this. And it's especially annoying in multi-player 2v2, 3v3, or 4v4 battles. I've completely given up creating any of those rooms, as PvP seems to be over-populated with 40+ dragons that quit the room unless they're paired with a partner of equal or stronger level.
How about making PvP enjoyable even for the newbies? I feel like I'm just gonna live in frustration till my dragon gets at least to level 35.
