Plea to Haypi
Thanks Haypi for the update. I have a few thoughts that I really need to express and I think will be indicative of what most high level (aka people who actually pay money to play) think.
Please please please raise the level cap. I know that capping is effective at keeping gameplay more even but it is doing a disservice to the people who support the game. I know that some lower level players cry that it is unfair people who spend money get advantages over them but they should really be thanking us for supporting the game they are playing for free. If it wasnt for us "coiners", there would be no money for Haypi and therefore no game to play. We are also the people who carry you through boss battles or team PVP.
These people who are lower levels also have the "experience tree" with which to grow. All of us who have been playing since the original release are seeing our hard work and grinding (before tree existed) go down the drain as absolutely everyone who plays rapidly catches us. What took us months can now be achieved in days.
If the intention is to keep everyone on a level playing field maybe a 'stat cap' could be introduced for PVP so that people could level above 40 but their stats stay the same in PVP. This might not be a popular suggestion but I would take it in order to be able to level again.
For those of us at level 40 it is not about becoming stronger in order to destroy our competition, it is about giving us something to do in this game that provides some semblance of accomplishment. It used to be an epic achievement to have maximised your dragon but now it seems run-of-the-mill.
I know of people (who spend money in this game) quitting because they have run out of things to do, even just 24 hours after the update.
Short of increasing the level cap I think that many players would appreciate still being able to accrue experience so that they have a head start once the level cap is inevitably raised.
We are passionate about this game so Haypi, please support the players who support you and rush out a patch to reinvigorate our interest.
