Depends on what you are trying to do, and what kind of player you are. Although this has already been asked multiple times and frontes as a poll many a time as well, if you set this question up as a poll, the results would be much clearer.

I'd say cav. I like cat/inf because I can forget to command and only inf die.. so cats on their own wouldn't be much good cos I'd be killing them constantly. So cav
