How come i can't breed

I was visiting someones home to breed and when i went to click breed and choose my fish to breed with the other persons but no fish showed up, so i tried someone elses fish but once again nothing would load up, all my fish are breedable because they are not Ederly, What is going on :S

both your fish and the fish you wish to breed with need to be in at least the "youth" stage of life in order to breed

I know this is absolutely no help, but you may want to reconsider renaming the topic "How come my fish can't breed" I could come up with all kinds of reasons you might not be able to breed.
