About the Friends tab, that is where players you invited by email go, not necessarily just referred.

On friends, when you say people you hVe referred, what does that mean? Is it a task like in hk?

As I said in the post literally right above the one you just made, you get friends from inviting them to play by email. It displays them in a small map with their name and level, with your tank at the center. I'll get a picture if you'd like.

Friends invited by email would assumedly be placed around my own icon. The number represents the player's level.
