Troop Withdraw

I have no issues with someone withdrawing troops when they are getting pounded during a fight the problem with withdraw is it is unbalanced. If a player withdraws the winner should still be awarded the prestige that he/she killed and the loser should still be penalized for the prestige that they lost plus the coins it costs to do so. In addition to this there should be a limit to when you can withdraw typically by round 4 of a good fight you know wether or not you are going to win or lose so I say if you dont withdraw before round 4 the option to do so goes away.

Re: Troop Withdraw

Its a good idea, but i think its fine without a time limit. What if you withdraw because the battle is taking to long, and its not worth the time?

Re: Troop Withdraw

No, if you withdraw the battle is unresolved thus no one is considered the winner.

Re: Troop Withdraw

..... No..... If this ever happens ill quit Haypi lol. Withdraw is a life-saver and If this happens loads of people will be stuffed because they will not only lose large portions of their army but they'll also lose prestige.... Not a good combination if you just paid real money to get out of a fight.

Re: Troop Withdraw

Thus I why you should fight smarter instead of running from battles this is a war game and you should be penalized for what you lost.

Re: Troop Withdraw

Right now, the defender gets too much advantage in a fight already, if you take away the single advantage of being an attacker which is to withdraw if the fight don't go your way, then you will find that there will be no one willing to attack from now on, if they do they will roll on you will an overwhelming army which you have no chance against.

Bottom line is, right now it's fair, if you really want to make sure that person can't escape, then attack him yourself, if you don't have the army or the ability to attack then don't get mad when people get away from you.

Re: Troop Withdraw

You have no way of knowing your victims shooting skill and its very easy to lose your entire army because you mis-judged their shooting skill....
