Haypi Windows Port

Personally i think that a Windows/Mac port of Haypi Kingdom would be awesome!

Its a pretty simple concept, im sure it has been suggested before. Im not sure if you would use a desktop client written in C using Direct Draw or SDL for graphics or a intenet/browser based client written in Java or something.

Re: Haypi Windows Port

This will NEVER happen.
Sorry bud theirs just to many sources that could "Hack" this "Unhackable" game if this port existed. Theirs autoclickers, cheatengine, artmoney, and their wont be UDID's anymore so you can make unlimited accounts. Theirs just way to many deturents in making this for Mac or Windows.

Sorry to Pop your Bubble :/

Re: Haypi Windows Port

Well, I respectfully disagree. I have no knowledge upon how the Haypi Kingdom servers are programmed, however as long as all of the values (resources, money, etc..) and such are stored in the server and don't tie into the client itself, memory editing applications such as Art Money and Cheat Engine would have no effect.

Like I said, I have no idea how the Haypi server works so it could be that it would require too much effort on the server end for it to be worth while.

Obviously this idea is out of the scope of what Haypi Inc is trying to accomplish and I dont mean to push this idea too hard I am just attempting to make a sound argument about the legitimacy of the concept.

I apologize if im not making any sense. It is true that bots can be used however that would be the least of many issues that could possibly occur.

I can infer by the nature of your accusation towards cheat engine that you have no idea what it actually does so lemme explain.

Cheat Engine is an application that is able to read the memory of a specific process (on windows). If you (the user) are able to pinpoint a specific value like your wood, stone, or money, then Cheat Engine can change that value to whatever you want (like change your money to 1000000000 or something like that), however, what I was saying is that if such values were not tied into the client (the windows application) but were solely stored on the server then cheat engine would have no way of accessing those values.

Also things like users passwords would not be normally accessible to cheat engine, such access would require one to actually hack the server (which in theory could be done now if someone really wanted to and were smart enough to)

I am a game programmer and have worked in the industry for a long time so yes i think that i do know what im talking about.

lmao and you think im not? lol cheat engines are used for what you said and good cheat engines can hack for passwords. type in a username insert the clicker on the password option and it will search 7000 possible abilities a second>.>

Generally information like usernames and passwords are stored in databases that exist on servers. How would an application that edits memory values access, much less, hack into a server like that and retrieve arbitrary information such as a username or password?

They can already do the same for Haypi as of now, no? I mean, Haypi uses the same password on the forums for accounts as they do in-game.

It simply tries thousands of possible passwords until it gets the right one. Only way around this is to have the system lock up after so many incorrect password attempts, or make a strong passwords with numbers and symbols, etc.
