Group Letters

Here's my perspective:

1) add mail recipient tab. For instance, why shouldn't you be able to pick just 6 members you want to send mail to? it shouldn't have to be either just one member at a time or all members at once. Here's my situation: I'm the leader of a 3 day old alliance, V. I have 30 members. I think that about 10 members have joined per day. In trying to be a helpful/friendly/welcoming alliance leader, I've sent welcome messges to all new members. The first day, I sent an alliance letter welcoming everyone. But now I'm doing it one letter at a time because I don't wanna be repetitive and fill up all my members' mailboxes with constant alliance letters.

See what I'm saying?

2) having a recipient feature makes complete logistical sense. Sending a letter to a select 7 users would use no more server power and make it no
more laggy than if you sent 7 individual letters.

Thanks for reading! I spent time and brainpower on this; I hope it helps you guys decide on hopefully adding a few
more mail features.

Re: Group Letters

Agreed, tho could be something simple like putting a ; then space like you would in emails. Always wondered bout why they haven't done that when I start to write letters.

Re: Group Letters

Also, would it be possible to add a "send to vices only" feature?

It would be much easier to send 1 msg to them all - than having to copy n paste each msg and send individually..

Re: Group Letters

I agree with suggestion. However it does open a new channel for alliance recruitment spam. An alliance member able to send mass recuitment letters and suddenly everyone is angry that they have had so many spam ads that their important messages were pushed

Re: Group Letters

Great idea. May I add a suggestion in terms of filling up the mail box?

1. A sub-section in "letter" --> "Saved letters"

I send out hints and suggestions to my members and I think it would help to have a section where they can save priority letters in a separate mailbox section since the main letter section automatically deletes old letters.
