Re: Timer

Timer and/or push would be handy but NOT having one does make the game a little more interactive. You have to actually be paying attention. If the devs add in too many "helpers" to make it easier, the game would be too easy and then it just isn't fun any more.

You have to be able to make mistakes to learn from them...

Re: Timer

i dont understand "why attack someone then close the screen" ? not to be rude but i mean if im attacking someone ima make sure im there to command, no way id risk leaving my ipod down somewhere and then having my army wiped. I think what Moki said " lazyness at peak" is completely true, if you dont wanna risk forgetting just dont attack, simple problem solve

Re: Timer

it would make it easier but using the ipod/iphone timer even without multitasking is really simple anyway so not much point in my opinion
how do you let people know if your hot cakes are selling well?

Re: Timer

Haypi already has a push notification glitch. ( It sometimes warns you of an attack like a few hours after ) It would be terrible if people start to rely on push notifications and they start to go wrong. Even more people will lose their armies thinking their safe and theyll be alerted when they are attacking. Bad Idea Sorry.

Re: Timer

I wish there would be an option to set an alarm when the war starts, not only when someone attacks me.

I use A basic app "clock"'s timer to command when the war starts.
As this game's real kicking part is MMO command, there should be some kind of feature to Help it shine out!:)

Re: Timer

guys haypi is a war game. when a general decides to go to sleep after he sends his army into battle, and wakes up to find his army dead, thats his fault for either going to sleep, or sending the attack in the first place. point is, if you are too lazy to WAIT for a couple minutes, thats too bad. now on the larger attacks, ie 25 minutes, i could see a push notification. i think that would be cool, on attacks of 20 minutes plus.

Re: Timer

I like a timer "in game" or better an option paramater to allow each player to select warnings when they want e.g.
- when entering in a battle (attacking ; not only when attacked)
- when you loose an oasis
