Leaders Muting members

In my haypi experience I have come across many situations where a members has started causing trouble in alliance chat. Well if your the leader or vice leader of an alliance all you can do is delete that member because most likely if you ask them tostop they won't. So I think it would be a good idea if leaders and vice leaders could mute their members from alliance chat. They would have the option to mute them for 1 hour, 3 hours, 6 hours, 12 hours or one day. And this would only be from alliance chat. That member would still be able to participate in world chat and private chat. I don't know if this idea has been menntioned before but tell me what you think.

Re: Leaders Muting members

I think this is a really good idea. It would add even a bit more prestige to being a vice leader in an alliance which would make the positions more coveted and hopefully more respected.

However, I might suggest that you move this topic to the "suggestions" thread. :)

EDIT: Wow!!! That was fast. Someone is watching....

Re: Leaders Muting members

Personally, if I got muted in Alliance by my Leader, I'd cut my losses and get the heck outta there.
I'm pretty sure most people would feel the same. Nobody likes being babysat ;)

Re: Leaders Muting members

Because if the person has a lot of prestige if you just kick them than you risk dropping your alliances rank.

Re: Leaders Muting members

I wouldn't ever leave my alliance just because my leader muted me. Most likely if I got muted it's because I deserved it. Noe I can see leaders maybe abbusing there power than I could see leaving that alliance but if your loyal to your alliance you wouldn't leave over something small like that.

Re: Leaders Muting members

If you cant talk them into cooperating and they wont respect you enough to stop causing trouble, then they dont deserve to be in your alliance;)
